1999 GMC Envoy Transfer case removal

I need help in removing the transfer case please. I have the drive shaft out and the transfer case loose, but can't seem to get enough room to pull the transfer case out to replace it. There is a sub frame that is welded in the way. How do I get this out? Thank you
