Only a CTS

I was driving down the highway in my red garnet CTS. I had my mother with me in the front seat. She is 80 years old. Up ahead there appeared a roadblock by the NY State Troopers. I assured my mother that everything was alright and that it was just a road check to see if vehicles were registered, tires were o.k. inspection and so-forth. Since my mom is 80 years old I had to re-assure her that everything was alright, expecting that the officer would wave us through. Well anyway, a tall female state police officer signals me to stop. I stop the car and then she signals me to roll down my window. Now my mom is wondering what did we do. Quite frankly I was a bit miffed too. Then she stares at me with her mirrored glasses and says, "how do you like it?" I think to myself, she must be talking about my car. I say, "I like it alot." She says, "is this your first cadillac?" I say "yes." She says, "kind of small for a caddy." I say, " its the new Cadillac CTS." She says, "just wondering." About that time the other trooper, there were about 5 police cars on this road block, comes up to me and says, "kind of boxy looking." I say, "well in the sixties, cadillac was avant garde with their tail finn styling. We will just have to wait and see." Then they both waived us through. Only a CTS could demand such attention.
