i just wanted to know what is the proper way(if any) to reset my ecu for my 88 crx? i read about disconnecting the negative on the battery and also something about pulling the battery fuse or hazard fuse also? i would like to do the fuse one so i won't lose any settings on my radio, so does anyone know which fuse to pull? and how long do i leave it disconnected? also...once you put the fuse back in and turn on the car your not suppose to rev it and let it sit for like 5 min. correct? ok thanks for the clear up....

the hazard fuse is under the hood on the passenger side strut tower withe the rest of the under the hood fuses. if i remember correctly its the only 10 amp fuse in there. take it out for 30secs or so and it'll reset the ecu.

10amp hazard fuse as stated in the manual, pull it for 10 secs and that's it. Some will say to.....
1. warm up the car
2. turn it off
3. pull fuse
4. put fuse back in
5. start car and let it idle (don't touch accelerator) for 5-10min
6. turn off car - and you're finished.
But like I say it only says to pull the hazard fuse in the manual!
