Blazer Electrical Ghost

Hello I am having a huge issue with my 1999 Blazer. It has the 4.3L V6 installed.
The problem is that it will not start. The battery is good, fully charged at 12.6 volts, the starter is new i just replaced it.n The grounding wires are connected clean to the starter motor and the grounding terminals for the negative lead wire are clean and connected well.
When the ignition is turned on(not cranking) there is power occasionally. However when I go to crank the motor there is one click then all electrical dies. I get two shots at cranking the motor and then all electrical dies in the car, I do not get dash lights or anything else. Tried starting in Neutral and Park to avoid the neutral switch on the transmission. Thinking the problem could be a bad relay or a burnt wire.
Any thoughts or helping hints?

I would start by pulling ALL the fuses and clean (lightly sand) any tarnish off the contacts until they are shiny and reinsert.

Ignition switch! VERY common problem on these trucks. i'd say a majority of owners have had to replace it by now (including me). there is a how-to in the DIY section.

Did you check the connections at the 175 amp MAXI fuse under the battery? Everything EXCEPT the starter and the alternator goes through it. If there's a poor connection, nothing will operate, no lights, no clicks, no nothing. The red wire on the battery positive post goes directly to the fuse. A fusible link attaches at the same spot and runs up to the alternator. The other side of the fuse runs to the underhood fuse panel and supplies power to the entire electrical system, (except the starter and alternator). I'd check this before the ignition switch as the ignition switch will not cause the lights to fail.
