99 Blazer Brake Problem

Hi guys. I have a 99 blazer, 4.3, 4wd and 4 wheel disc brakes and 4 wheel ABS. I changed the brake line that runs from the front to the rear. At first i couldnt get fluid to the rear when i tried to bleed the system. My brother has a snap on scanner so i was good to bleed the abs with that. BUT he couldnt get over in time so i disconected the battery for a few hours and then i finally got fluid in the rear so i went ahead and bled them. Started with RR then RL then RF then LF. Everything turned out fine as far as fluid and no air left in the system, or so i thought. Now with the vehicle off i get a good firm pedal but when i start it, the pedal is soft. It does stop but the pedal isnt right. The ABS light is not on. Thanks in advance for any advice here. Great site. This place has helped me with lots of problems ive had in the past. Thanks again!!!!

Is the red "BRAKE" light on the dash illuminated?
Did the master cylinder run dry at any time?
If so, you will need to do the "Automated bleed" using a capable bi-directional scan tool.
