'86 Bronco II cat converter

I have found an 86 bronco II for about 500 bucks i want to buy, only it needs a cat converter to pass emissions. i found some cat converters online for it with about 86 bucks being the most expensive. However my question is, how much of a pain is it to install a cat converter and would it really be worth it to get the truck?
