Does anyone know if it's possible to get an after market sunroof installed?
I imagine all they have to do is a cut a hole in the roof, fit the sunroof and make it leakproof. (I dont even care if it's powered or not)
I've always wanted a car with a sunroof and don't feel like waiting until my 4g bites the big one.
Any idea how much something like that would cost?

IMO it isnt worth the money, just save up, sell your ride, and get an SI or something.

Unfortunately, I 2nd that....
99% of the time, they leak if they aren't factory installed.

Dunno if it's feasable, but why not get an Si roof and weld it in - when I had the headlining out of my SiR the only real reinforcement was around the sunroof itself. LoL - lower the roof by 4 inches even in a chop-top look and drive around with your head out of the sunroof - or not :p

Or I could just drive with my head out the drivers side window a la Ace Ventura.

95% of all after-market installed sun roof usually start leaking or have operational problems. If you dont want any leaks silicone it closed. Cars with sunroofs from the factory have bracing in the roof to add strength.

this is in big because... i have an aftermarket sunroof and was installed profesionally and s powered and has never ever leaked in about three years. if you get one with a lifetime warranty (such as mine) you will be sweet they are great i love it,. if u get a dodgy one then sure it will leak but coming from experience i have no regrets

I was thinking weld in the Si roof with the sunroof built in. My SiR sunroof doesnt leak and it's the same style. :)
