Keyless Entry

Can anyone tell me how to program a new keyless entry remote. Thanks:confused:

You need to have the dealer do that.

If you look in your manual there are instructions how to do it they are very accurate. I programmed 2 remotes in less then 3 min. If you do not have your manual or need me to look up those directions for you let me know. I don't have my truck here right now but I can get that info to you tomorrow.

I bought a Durango that had RKE from the factory but the lot I bought it from did not have the orignal remote. I ordered one and got it but now need to program it. The dealer wants what I consider too much money to do this. Can anyone tell me how it is done?

How do you tell if a durango is equiped with keyless entry? The deal I bought mine from did not have any remotes and was not sure if it was equiped.

ebay or maybe it,s the code i need if u can help

You do need at least 1 WORKING remote to program others to the Durango (at least for 99+ models.)

If you don't have at least 1 WORKING remote, you will need to make a stop at a local Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership and have them use the DRB scantool to enter programming mode and add the remotes.
