Where or how do you store your finished models

I have lived in 5 different places during the last 10 years dragging my kits with me. The unbuilt ones are the minor problem. The few ones I built suffered a lot from dust and damage due to packing and transport. Currently they are hidden in several small boxes diffused inside bigger transport boxes. I was wondering how many evil guys abuse their models like me, and how many treat them as they should be treated: clean, polished in glass closets.

Im building a workshop diorama, to show my finished models....i think that a diorama is the best option to store the cars

I have a couple of items I picked up from the local hobby shop that closed. One is a 6 foot display case:

It is much fuller than that picture shows. I do need to get some glass or plexi sliding doors on the back to help with dust, but it works very well and the cars are protected.
I also picked up this Corgi display:

I also have a 1/18 scale display case that holds 12 cars, but is perfect for 1/24.

I have figured out that I really am all about the building so once/when/if I've finished one, it just gets put in a box, in a shelf.

Mine are clean and polished in a glass closet :) I like both building and watching them when they are finished.

Old picture - now the closet is almost full.

2 meters tall shop showcase with internal light and no dust filter.
Inside such expensive place....also an old Burago looks nice ;)

I make glass cases with framed bases (which I also make) for my special ones and ones that have many opening features. They stay perfectly clean for decades:

Do you sell them? Do they are expensive?

The material costs depend on your selections. They are all labor-intensive which would make them costly. They would also be difficult to ship without damage.

Very nice!

I'm a bit like DM - once I have finished building a model I lose interest in it so it either gets wrapped in tissue and stored in a shoe box somewhere or gets given away to someone.
