Aoshima grachan 2door skyline

I wanted to build this for display at the last local nationals but couldn't finish it in time. its going to be a box stock build as well since I like the stock super low stance, scraping front chin spoiler and raised wing (which is the grand champion or grachan look I think).

the paint is a custom mixed urethane red paint from a friend and the clear coat is 2k clear.

paint has been rubbed out and working on the suspension and interior now. Oh, those white reflection on the paint is from our dining table light :)

Looks good so far, the shine is fantastic

thanks endac, the details isn't so great especially the battery operated chassis but should build up to a nice shelf model. will post more updates this weekend :)

here are the suspension mock up pics. I decided to build the suspension stock and just paint the whole chassis flat black. wheels will be painted body color. I'm still deciding if I want to bring in the front wheels a bit so it tucks into the fender. front chin spoiler and rear spoiler are blue tacked in place.

this is almost done. just need to foil the handles, detail paint the rims and add the chrome side mirrors. i went with a flat and semi gloss black interior.
