I was wondering if it's possible to change the settings in the chip or where i could get a new one to make my 2010 tC get better mpgs and less horse power or performance. Also what the effects would be if I did this good bad or both. If anybody knows how to do it or what I gotta do to get this done pleas let me know.

Definitely take it to a shop to get it tuned. Plug-in tunes are great but if you're looking to calm your car down for better MPG I'd take it to a shop. With a plug-in tune, you may find that it just caused your car to run leaner, and will decrease the lifespan of your engine given that carbon build-up occurs at lower rpms. The fact that you're trying to get more MPGs out of your car (assuming that it's stock) may indicate that something could be wrong. You may have a bad mass air flow sensor that is telling your engine to dump more fuel in than needed. For now, though, I would recommend taking it to a shop to see what they have to say and see if they'd be willing to tune it for more MPG GOOD LUCK!
