old parts trees?

I was cleaning out my area today and I was wondering...
What do you guys do with used parts trees, part of me wants to keep them because i might need them at a later stage, but most of me wants to throw them out because they take up space and are just plain annoying because they look untidy.
So what do you guys do?
Should I keep 1 or 2 or throw out the lot?

Cut them up into smaller pieces, the straight pieces I keep for stirring paint, the rest get trashed.....

Well, if a kit has multiple parts; such as mirrors, steering wheels etc...
I snip those parts off and keep em in my bin. The rest get trashed, but I always make it a point to keep the manual.

Yeah for sure keep the spare parts, and the the extra sprues from the tree's are great for making exhaust systems, antena's and other custom bits:) . I also keep some of the model boxes for storage or to put parts in to be sprayed;)

yea i would just cut um up and use them as mixing sticks. also those parts tree are good for making roll cages(if they're the right scale).:D

they are good for making roll cages but they are also great for making custom brush gaurds for badass trucks. if you have patience of course. so keep them. and the chrome plated ones make really good exaust tips. especially the way you can make angled tips with them. just dont forget to paint the white part (the not chrome plated part or the middle) flat black.

hahaha. i might have some extra ones. what exactly are you lookin to ude them for? mixing paint, exaust, whatever you can fing a use for them? what?

for exaust

For some reson I always keep mine. I have found that they do come in handy at certain times and you never need them more that the time that you dont have them.

I melt them down and have had moderate success using the plastic as a casting agent. Resin would probably be better, but scrap plastic and tube glue are dirt cheap. :D
