Fuel filter problem

I am having trouble taking my fuel filter out. I have the hose clamps loose and sliding, but the damn hose wont come off the filter.... any help suggestions, im no mechanic, but mechanically inclined

If you don't have an aftermarket intake, remove the stock one to have more room. Also, take a pair of pliers and twist the hose while holding onto the fuel filter. This should break it loose. If not, you can always use a razor blade and cut the hose where the inlet and outlet end and just slip that part over the new filter. Check to be sure you have plenty of slack in the fuel line to do this though and try to only use it as a last resort or if the hose gets mangled trying to remove it.

Fuel filters are a bitch....

I would use the twisting with pliers as mentioned above, but also try to put a flat screwdriver between the hose and the filter and pry.

And make sure you depressurize the system first.
