 Is there an inexpensive easy way to measure the air fuel ratio. I have seen the need to have fuel pressure risers. But the only real way you need them is if you are running lean.

Hey you guys out there with Fuel pressure risers, why did you add them?

The easiest way i can think of is to install a a/f ratio guage. Though I found that on the MAX it is not an exact science. My 95 se has three(3) o2 sensors and I found that the one nearest the engine( left cylinder bank right at the exhaust manifold) gives the more acurate reading. Though the a/f guage is nothing more than a fancy voltmeter I think you wouldhave a hard time converting a meter reading to a ratio.

Regular A/F ratio gauges are VERY inaccurate. The best way is to get one with a dedicated O2 sensor, not one that reads off your existing one. An EGT is actually a lot more accurate, unless you get something like a Tomei A/F meter. A fuel pressure riser is really only good if you stick your car on a dyno and tune it. Or if you have NOS... :D
