Well, the kit is coming along rather nicely.
At present point I have sprayed 3 coats of paint on the model. I will most likely apply 1 maybe 2 more. I spent all of monday evening building the interior. I'm going to post several pictures after this post of what I have done so far.
I've done all of the interior, the engine bay and the underside. I have not glued the wheels in yet.
Today was a very bad modelling day. I cut myself pretty bad with a Xacto knife and I also got superglue all over my hands and my table. Luckily, the cut isn't too deep and the superglue didn't bond my hands together. By now I've been able to peel all of the glue off. Man that sucked!
Also, I've learned not to try to sand out bubble. Oh did that stink. I'm still trying to cover that up! :o
Besides my goof-ups the model is very well designed and very detailed. I hate painting with metallics though. The paint doesn't wash out of my brush very well. Oh well, on with the pics! :D

Hey Twist, I recently made the Revell ITR (it was also my first model creation). It was a lot of fun, so I bought a Corvette to start this weekend.
I used really basic model paints that I found around the house that my little brother uses and I am disappointed in the paint job, but I thought I did something really cool by using a flat black on the hood to simulate CF. It actually looks pretty good, especially with the glossy black I used for the body. I will post pics sometime later this week, I hope you all like it :D .

Today, besides all the mishaps. I took the otherwise ridiculously bright chrome rims and painted them with steel metallic paint. The final look is very nice and closely resembles gun-metal.
I don't know whether or not I'll be doing the Lancer next or if I do whether or not it will be the rally version. The trouble is that the kit and decals are matched to Gunze Sangyo paints. They don't make these in spray cans, so I have to match with Tamiya spray paints. So far the match with the decals and the Tamiya paint hasn't looked so good.
The other bad part is that while the Integra comes with 4 sets of rims, they're on a 1/25 scale and the Lancer is 1/24 so I can't replace the gawdy stock wheels. Oh well, I'm thinking about ordering 4 or 5 choro-q's from Hobby Link Japan (darn you, Jay! *shakes fist in air*) so I could throw in an order for so Aioshima (sp?) rims, too!

I would ask for you guys thoughts on the model, but the pics are so bad :o that you prolly can't say much. I'm planning over the next several days to buy some real film and take pics. Most of them will be of the completed model. I just learned this though... The Integra has no side windows. it has the front and back, but no windows like the kind that you would roll up and down! http://www.contrabandent.com/pez1/contrib/dvv/nuke24.gif

Gunze colors: what colors do they ask for?
Off-scale rims: True, they're small because they're on a smaller scale, but that should be offset a bit by the fact they're supposed to be a couple inches bigger than stock. Finding tirs for them should be your only problem?
Lancer: Can it be built as a street car? They make street models; don't waste the awesome Hasegawa detail!
Fist shaking:

Pic 6: The completed interior and suspension with the body resting on top. Keep in mind that the whole car is bright red, no orange or yellow. The red is really like you see around the back wheel. The oranging (not a word, i know!) came from the digicam.
Bear in mind that the body doesn't have a spoiler, hood or bumper (front or rear). They're still drying.

You can dig around at www.toyota.co.jp; they still have the Supra in their line-up in Japan, so you could probably find their factory colors there.

My next project will most likely be a Toyota Supra. It'll be painted Silver Metallic Graphite. I gotta find a Tamiya paint to match, tho. The Graphite is the factory color.

I don't know about the wheels yet. If I wind up making an order to HLJ I'll prolly buy some wheels. It would be a sort of X-Mas present to myself.
Here is my model again. I've touched up the above photo by "fixing" the light on my model, adding inserts to the rims (even tho I don't really like it) and fixing some of the windows. Basically I fixed my modeling errors! Enjoy!
