Spoon Specs?

Hi all, i want to make my car go faster without forced induction. Any ways to keep it in NA mode and without braking the bank? I drive a 94 Honda INTEGRA SIR/GSR. I was thinking of

a) Spoon Cams
b) Spoon Cam Sprockets
c) A'pexi Power Intake
d) Spoon N1 Exhaust

I reckon this would set me back almost 2 grand and nothing much left to go. Anyone got any ideals on increasing power and speed without breaking the bank?

Gonna get some spoon gear cheap from my friend. THe camshafts and cam gears are bout 500 total. The exhaust and apexi filter would be brand new. That is bout 1 grand for the above. ANything else i can get? Maybe if i put up 4 grand max. Reason i am broke is coz of the aero kit and spoon wheels mainly. I wanna get some opinions bout how to get my car quicker and more powerful b4 i throw my cash into this project. I want to go JDM, but mugen is crazy expensive. Spoon has great cred for tuning Hondas and the prices for spoon parts are so much lower.

there is more JDM out there then Spoon and Mugen. TODA makes some sweet cams the JDM ones are great too also if your going NA the Skunk to intake manifold is a great buy i'd get a P&P also. http://www.jdmhondaparts.com try here loads of JDM stuff

Why the hell did you buy spoon wheels... please tell me its a show car. The first time you find even the slightest pothole, say goodbye to your magnesium rims :o

yeah i would be scared to roll down my driveway with those rims.

Im pretty sure that the spoon sw388s are made of forged aluminum... have you heard of people having problems with them?

spoon wheels are fine for the street i busted one once slide on ice bend it it was only 2 weeks old. roads near me are nothing fancy but there paved and they've lasted.

Yeah, the spoon wheels are forged aluminium. THey weigh 3.88kg as the name suggests. BUT THEY ARE TOUGH. I live in Melbourne AUstralia so no snow to speak. THey are good for daily driving, and no, i dont make cars for show. More for performance.

OH, another thing, i managed to brake off one of the valve cover nuts while tightening the valve cover. I tightened it a little too much. Anyway i can repair this? I did not break the nut, rather, the bolt holding the valve cover to the (i dont know the technical term for this, but the part directly underneath the valve cover). IT would BE A GREAT HELP. Hey Ace$nyper, what did u say? i didnt really understand? u bent one of the wheels when u slid on the ice?

yea i slid on ice but yea it bend bad needed new one. The rim was only 2 weeks old when it happened. sorry if i wasn't clear. I think the spoons are great for daily driver there are fair share of pot holes near me never a prob with them.

Go to a hardware store and tell them what you did to the bolt. They'll hook you up with everything you need to pull it out. It's pretty cheap, but if you can't get them out have fun sending it to a machine shop to have them pull them out. That's nice and expensive.
