CV Axle replaced Left and Right

I have a 2002 Hyundai Elantra and had to replace both CV axles. After replacing the cv axles I'm hearing a noise as I make a left turn now. Almost as if having a bad brake pad rubbing against the rotor. Only when I turn left and very seldom do I hear it turnning right. I replaced the strut mounts, didn't work. STill making noise.
What I like to know is, Can a CV Axle if it was rebuild, can it make a shearing sound? Like brakes going bad? Driving straight is fine!:banghead:

Could be the wheel bearing.
