Chris - try Kevin at StradaSports - http://www.stradasports.com/ - if you give him a good idea of what you're looking for and some time - he can find almost anything. He has always managed to come thru for me and they are here in the USA. Go to the link and email him - John

Which year? I don't think the liveries were any different for him the years he won ('05 and '06). I know Yamaha changed them and when he was on the Ducati they changed but not on the Honda...

Note Hayden won the championship in motoGP (2006) and has struggled since the bike was sized and developed for the smaller sized Dani Pedosa. Pedrosa is very tiny compared to the 6 foot Hayden - Hayden continued to struggle after his move to Ducati s that bike was designed around Casey Stoner another very small person. It will be interesting to see what happens at Ducati for 2011 as Rossi and Hayden both tall riders will be at Ducati. Also I believe Rossi is the master at setting up a bike and Hayden should benefit from him coming to the team. Again - contact Kevin at Stradasports. - John

John, your a little off. Nicky has been in MotoGP since 2003. He was Rossi's team mate until Rossi went to Yamaha. Nicky won the 2005 and 2006 USGP at Laguna Seca. On the stuff about the bikes being designed for midgets like Pedrosa and Stoner you are correct.

I stand corrected - Hayden did start his Moto GP career in 2003 - I'm not a big Hayden fan personally - I always felt he was over-rated as are his brothers - and I only think he won the 2006 season because he was riding the best of what Rossi had developed at Honda plus a few new parts as Hayden was the only one with a full works bike in 2006 - Pedrosa whom I also think is over-rated could never come to terms with the 990cc rear-wheel steer bike. I think that when the bikes return to 1000cc based the "little" fly weight riders with their 250cc riding styles will have some difficulty - also they need to address the riding weight issue - rather than a minimum weight for the bike - it should be bike/rider that way these feather weight riders do not have an unfair advantage. - John

If he was on the coattails of Rossi for '06, why didn't he win in '03 or '04? To win it 2 years after Rossi left is leaving out 2 full years of development of the bike without Rossi. Hayden was very consistent in his finishes in '06 and that wins championships (see Rosberg in F1 in '82).
Pedrosa was Hayden's teammate at FACTORY Honda in '06, so there were two factory HRC riders, as there have been for years...
Hayden's riding style is that of a "dirt-tracker". Meaning he likes to slide the bike and have it loose. I'd imagine that he'd do much better than others on bigger, more powerful machines because of this. Think of his times in the rain vs in the dry. He's always one of the fastest riders in the rain. This is why.
(I am a NH fan. A good friend from college is a very close friend of NH and grew up together. NH lives about an hour away from me. Pretty cool. I'm trying to get my friend to get an in...)

Racer93 - the pros and cons of NH can be argued all day - the bottom line is he has won very few GPs out of the total number he has entered and he has always been on a works bike - nuff said - John

Like him or not, he does have a world championship. Not a lot of riders can say that.
I have seen him over the years in the paddock at Laguna Seca and he seems like a nice guy. Always has plenty of time for the fans. Even was a good sport one year when the fans were giving him a hard time during a photo shoot. Guys laughing at him and calling him a pretty boy.

"Winning races and not championships is everything, especially on a works bike."
Signed,
Max Biaggi, Dani Pedrosa, Colin Edwards, and Loris Capirossi...

Nah, not "nuff said".
Since when is Keke Rosberg not considered one of the best in F1? He did exactly the same thing that NH did in winning his championship. It's called consistency. You don't have to win every time out (or even very often at all.
Consider an example a friend shared with me the other day. In this year's F1 championship, a driver could have won if he finished (or averaged) a 4th place finish in 15 races and 2nd 4 times. Zero (0) wins. How is that possible? I guess that driver isn't as 'good' because he didnt win, right?

Yes, I'm a customer of his (talk to him on the phone few times too) but he doesn't carry everything and he can't get everything I want either, so I buy it from others. But yes, is my first choice of parts and tools but when he can't help then I get it from wherever.

I understand Kevin - doesn't stock everything - Have you tried him?? I have ordered many special order items thru him - it might take a while, but he always does his best. I would call or email him direct with exactly what you are looking for regarding the decals and see what he can do - John

I'm curious which race Laguna Seca or Indy and what year. I don't remember his Repsol Honda having any special paint job at Laguna. Do you have a picture of what you are looking for. Since he has been with Ducati, his bikes have had special paint schemes for the US GPs.
