Power loss after hitting bump

Due to the shock of the event I didn't look at my gauges as I was trying my best to get off the road due to traffic.
After running over a bump while turning left, my 05 Sunfire immediately lost power to the drive train. The engine would rev in response to pushing the pedal, but the rest of the car just wouldn't accelerate beyond my current speed of 20-30MPH. I want to say that I glanced and saw my revs were sitting at 1000, but I can't promise that's what happened. For all I can tell, it could have been at 2-3000 and I just was feeling what I saw.
So since I could not get the car to keep up with traffic I immediately got off the road, turned off the car, and then started the car up after not seeing anything out of place externally. This corrected the problem. I continued the 30 min drive home and started looking around once I got back, but I really don't know what I'm looking for, but my first guess is throttle linkage, or something with the fuel line. I wanted to toss this out there and see what advice I can get. I am working on taking it in but with no light coming on I don't know if I threw a code just yet.
