Thinking about buying a Durango.

Can someone tell me some more about these cars I have my eye on an 04 with high mileage and not sure if I should its loaded with everything the body is in excellent condition. They want 7995 but the interior has some issues not major but the high miles has me wondering. the miles are 175000.

The Durango is a great vehicle if you need to tow, or just want something with room and power.

The 2004 and newer Durangos that are 4x4 are full time all wheel drive which is fantastic for many reasons. Pulling out into traffic in any type of inclement weather is a non event for the most part due this.

Tell us a bit more about what you want to do with such a vehicle. In my opinion, there are more positives than negatives.

The Durango is a full frame well powered SUV that is very safe. The 1 negative would be fuel economy. You will average 11-13 around town, and depending on what engine you choose 17-20 on the highway.

They are not as big as a Suburban or Expedition, but larger than the Explorer.

hey i have a 99 durango...had it since 04 and no major problems. other than the water pump breaking, havent had any problems with the tranny or engine or read end. still runs good so if you take care of it, you shouldnt have any problems. the thing is pretty quick for a suv and i havent gotten stuck in any snow storm yet ( and i live in NE) 4x4 always gets me out of any situation. if i had the option to get another one...i would

don't buy it. too much money for so many miles worth about $4000 tops, junk balljoints, junk trans, engine is very expensive to fix.

you'd be better off getting a 4 runner or anything not a chrysler poduct.
