NO HVAC speed 5

Have changed the blower motor and had no speed 5. Then I changed the resistor. Still no speed 5. Is there a fuse that controls this? 98 GPGT single manual contol. 115K.

I think there is a fuse and maybe a fusable link. May be some that has the wiring diagram can point us in the right direction?

Look in the intrument panel fuse box (glovebox) for the fuse marked HVAC-HI.

Just replaced the 30 amp fuse. No luck.

Check for voltage at the fuse socket with the ignition on and the blower turned to speed 5.

The other possibility is a bad climate control head unit. Position 5 from the switch supplies a ground to energize the hi-speed blower relay which happens to be located on the blower motor resistor assembly but that was replaced.
