My first rod is finished  and it was fun.
Lindberg kit of a 1934 Ford Pickup. Standard height, channeled body and a little custom exhaust.
My next hotrod will definitely be slammed to the ground, but I choose not to do it with this one.
Hope you like it

I like it but it lacks something...
Maybe wider rear tires and a shorter bed would help.

Thanks man :)
Quite a lot of people think the same, and it certainly would be a tougher ride with such mods. But I didn't want to build a die-hard hotrod but wanted to keep it a bit original.
I kind off like it this way

Call it a "work in progress"
I've seen lots of cars/trucks like this in 1:1. most of them can't afford the parts, so they do what they can and continue building as they get money for parts.
You did a really good job, specially considering the Lindbergh kit is just atrocious.

Excellent looking model. I really like the nostalgic look to it.

MmmmmmHmmmmm. I really like this. At first I wanted to say it needed bigger rear tires, buuuut, I like it this way. It sets it apart from the rest.

Mayby rear fenders would make it looks better?

I was looking through Hot Rod magazine at the drug store today and saw this model...only it was 1:1 and blue. I'm not even kidding. The truck looked almost identical to this model. I'd say you did a GREAT job on this build.
A+ bro!
