heater problems

I have a 2003 T/C,and my problem is that the heater hoses the metal ones,one has a hole on it and its underneath the van.right under the passanger seat ther it connects to a piece of rubber hose about 6" long.i got all the rubber hoses disconneted but dont know wich way to pull the metal pipes out.do they come out thru the top or the bottom.im thinking they are pulled from the top cause when the connect to the heater core hoses they split in to 4.only 2 run underneath the van.
can i have a idea on how to get them from the top or get them out somehow.thank you

a very common problems with these minivans that have rear heat. ours blew in same place. towed and had them bypass it. the ac still works. i would vist junk yards/salvage yards and keep and eye out for some decent ones and go from there if you need rear heat. when you have the heat blow out to floor it will blow heat from underneath your front seats to the back, and there are vents on front doors that will blow to rear as well, if equipped. i have heard of others replacing with rubber instead of the metal, the ac water drips on them in that area too, mainly driving...

On the old Caravans from 96-2000, I tried removing it for 2 hours and I couldn't get it out, so I cut it where the pipe was good, and plugged it, so no more rear heat, but who cares...

I figured that the exhaust manifold at the very least would need to be removed, along with the upper plenum so it just wasn't worth it, being all the problems that could stem out from removing an exhaust manifold on any old car I was fine with bypassing it...

yes it is hell tring to take it out.but i got it out,had to take the battery out,unplugged the ignition coil and took that out also,moved the spark plug wires to the side,moved the power steering pump to the side and "wala" got it out.all im doing now is waiting for the part to get here.order it from partsgeek for $80.but have to wait for 3 days to get here.
