#061 in December 2010 issue of Classic & Sports Car [Supplement]

I was whiling away time today and found this little supplement on the Greatest Ever Drivers Cars as decided upon by 106 great drivers, such as Sir Stirling, Willie Green, Gregor Fisken, Adrian Newey, Whizzo Williams etc, and the F1 came 2nd behind the Porsche 911 2.7RS and in front of such things as the Ferrari 250 GTO, Elise, F40, E-Type, Mini Cooper S, original Lotus Elan etc

I'll add the scans later - there aren't too many angle-shots of #061 that we haven't seen before, but i'm sure that won't matter to most of those on here ;)

hmm not sure about that, yes they are great but first place?

I have driven a TechArt 997 myself and had a passenger ride in a 997 GT3 and yes they were great but I can imagine many better cars besides the F1

Driving the 2.7 is a totally different experience from modern "911s". The older car is less capable in every way, but very involving to drive.

Most of the people who rated the cars have never driven an F1, nor would most of them have driven a 2.7, for that matter. The ranking of the 5 finalists was determined by only one guy - de Cadenet.
