Models are back at Meijer!

Okay, so maybe this is a little more of a local thing, as I believe Meijer isn't in all markets, but while grocery shopping this afternoon, I just stumbled upon a nice display of model kits.
Meijer hasn't carried them in a while, and maybe it is a seasonal/Christmas thing.
But then I looked closer, and they were all marked 11.99 or 10.99.....
Couldn't help myself, got the Revell 68 charger R/T, the 07' Shelby GT500, and the Yenko Nova.

Just thought I would share, and hopefully Meijer is going to start stocking them again.

Living in Grand Rapids, where Meijer corporate headquarters are located has it's advantages.
I just happen to have a friend who is a buyer at Meijer, and she was able to pass along my appreciation to the buyer.... And here is the response to my question about it becoming a regular item...

Tell Matt to come back and buy more! Unfortunately they won’t become an inline item, but will continue to be a season pallet during the holidays.

We have more pallets coming for those stores that are selling well this season, which is the first time we have tried to replenish part way through the extremely short season.

She also mentioned that things are changing rapidly, and if it does well enough, that they might just try and find some shelf space on a permanent basis.
