Welcome to the site Worken4it,
Is the entire instrument panel dark?
Where you refer bogging down, is it like the engine is losing power?
The electric window switch, particulary the drivers window switch on mine is prone to failure due to window motor lube running out of the little gear housing and onto the brushes & commutator and messes with the electrical circuit.
I removed the door panel, bent the little tabs out on the window motor end plate, removed the stator shaft, cleaned the commutator then the brushes before re-assembling. Been working pretty good since.

For your power issue, you might check the fuel pressure. Gauge kits are available at chain type auto parts stores and Harbor Freight.

Here's where you check it, you need to see 55+psi with the engine idling.

There are 2 screws inside the inside door handle...I'll check further after I get up this afternoon.

I replaced my digital dash with one from the local Olds dealer before they quit.
You might check with your local Chevy/GMC dealer.
After you take the 2 screws out of the armrest, it comes off and you can access the door panel screws. Seems like the door panel slides up to be released from the door. It slides off the door handle.
Grab this quick!

Well, I'll argue that but you never give stupid answers.
