94 Acura Vigor

Me and my husband had recently purchased a used 94 Vigor. When we bought the car, the seller told us the car was in good shape and had no problems with car. Previous owner had owned the car for 5+ years. I been driving the car for a week now. This morning, i notice this car fume as i was driving to work. When i got to work, a 30 mintue drive, my car was just smoking in the hood. I thought it was b/c of low anti-coolient, but nope it's not. Can anyone tell me what is it? I'm thinking it might have to do with the oil? Any suggestion?
