Just wanted to get a set for towing my trailer with my 1500. I have a 2000 GMC Sierra Z71 extended cab short bed. I am towing a 8x18 enclosed that weighs 2800 lbs empty. Engine wise another 100 hp would be nice, but it is ok. Suspension wise I could use some help. The rear end of the truck sags pretty good. I have only seen a few air bag kits out there so I was wondering what everyone else was using. I don't need the fancy compressor kits and tanks right now. Maybe add it in the future. Right now I just want a inexpensive setup to use that I can fill with my compressor. I would also prefer a no drill style install. Or am I better off getting a load leveler hitch and setup? Also where can I find the best deals on this stuff? Thanks

Load equalizing hitch is a better way as it reduces suspension load and is safer towing.

I seem to be getting quite a bit of advice like that. I think I will go that route. Any reason to get a more expensive model than this one? It doesnt seem to have an option for adding sway control later on.

This one is also a trunnion style. Is there any other reason to go that route?

I could get the Reese round bar one that gives you the ability to add sway control for a bit more, but that is a round bar style. What am I missing in all this?
