I had some spare money and I went to pick up model or two...
Well I had only one thing to say I hate AF!
I picked up 4 kits!and I'm broke!!!!
I'll let the pics talk for themselves...
Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA:

Great kit with angine detail...I love the classic Alfa's
Mazda RX7 R1:

http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/985781post02.jpg
Another great kit...It also has an engine and after seeing so many killer looking RX-7 in AF I wanted to built one...
Toyota Celica GTFour:

http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/668896post02.jpg
I picked up the road version which is one of my favourite regular road cars...The wheels suck big time!Dunno where to find after market ones...(ordering online is not that easy without a credit card..)
Porsche RSR turbo:

http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/318674post02.jpg
When I saw this kit I said: WOwwwwwwwwwwww!
I knew that quality wasn't going to be that good but you know...I LOVE PORSCHE!!!!!!!!!!And in every purchase there is one so I thought I should buy this one...
Anyone else has it?
THe only one I can think is Laurent...If you have any pics I'd be gratefull if you could post them!
P.S:The kit was in perfect condition and the quality isn't that bad...(Worst than Fujimi though...)
Last but not list TS-8 Italian Red...I had to try a Tamyia paint once...
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/789383TS8-ItalianRed.jpg
And the last pics means most than all the above...This are all the money left after this 'small' purchase...Less than a dollar to get me going for 10 days...Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/484039money.jpg
Now you know why I hate this forum!:)
P.S:Someone should put in the FAQ a danger sign..."Modelling is addicrtive-Don't get involved if you are not ready to spent a big amount of money!"

yes....
Lots of work!
All 3 Tamyia has engines which menas many time spent for detailing them and the RSR needs a lots of cleaning sanding(and something inside me tells me that I should get that putty out of the cabinet...)
Which means hell lot of time!
LoL
P.S:Veyron could you post some pics of your RSR?THe martini paintjob is awesome...How much it costed to you?

Haven't built it yet, but have seen some built. I think I got it from Ebay for around $20. :)

It happens to all of us my friend! :D
I had never seen the Alfa Romeo kit, man that is sharp! I can see it with a set of aftermarket wheels and a slight lowering job.
EBAY here I come!

The ALfa isn't an old kit...They had about 10-15 in the shop I went!
But It was a bit expensive...around 30 US while the other Tamyia kits go at 22-25!
On the other hand the detail is great and from what I saw(just a quick look) looks very sharp!A great model I think!I'm gonna built her box stock(maybe some wiring in the awesome engine) but I'm considering building a second in the future with the bumbers removed, wide wheels(alpina style) witha little camber and a small lowering job!!!
Cychalen yap I know you have the RX-7 in your to do list...but I'd say let's build first the Koenig Porsche!(my GT 2 is getting close...)
Veyron if you could post some pics of the ones you've seen build I'd be gratefulll...I picked up mine at about the same price...so I think that it's a good one...
Thanks for the replys...I'm off to build sme models!
Lot's of work to do!
P.S: chrismgee you beat lot's of good stuff in your list...But I still have no colors(and no money)so I might beat you in my next visit to a hobby stor for paints....

You will love it Mythos, its so easy to use dries quickly and looks great. I am using my first can of it at the moment, TS-50 on a '98 Subaru and my only complaint is I cant get it in Ireland.
As for the additction I know how you feel now that I have more time and a but more space I jsut want to be building all the time even if its just painting part of a chasis or a brake disk.
My Fiance sees me less now since we moved in together....LOL...at least she knows where I am.

you can say that again, I pass a hobby shop everyday from work to my house and is hard to just pass by and not go in and take a look at what's new. Great buys by the way.
