I am having a terrible time getting the fuel filter out of my 97 Blazer 4 door. I am going to cut the line and replace it with hose. Is there a special grade hose like one for Fuel injection or can I use the same as a regular gas line hose. I know there is alot of pressure so I thought I would ask B4 it was too late Thanks for anticipated replies.

If the fitting is the steel line end of the filter, (flare nut) use this: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Fuel-Line-Connector-Dorman---OE-Solutions_9110026-P_1252_R%7CGRPFUELAMS_1081395677___ to repair it. Do not use rubber line. Normal operating pressure is 60psi to 66psi but the pump is capable of building up to 108psi, rubber is NOT the way to go.

Actually these are quite easy to work on... if you know the secrets. What other problems are you having? Why do you suspect a problem with the injection system?
