hi everyone heres my problem my 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera 3300 dies after a few seconds of being started
any ideas please help

Sounds like starving for fuel or air.
1) Change fuel + air filter
2) Check fuel pressure
3) Have your catalytic converters checked, a totally plugged cat will choke the engine out.

whens last time you done a tune up? also check your vaccumme hose and fuel pump pressure. might even be in coil pack does you check engine light come on? also try putting some sea foam in your gas you can get it at any parts store. and does that have the multiport fuel in jection because it may be a injector but sea foam will help that maybe and change gas filter to. one more thing it could be maf sensor (masive air flow sensor)..

last tune up, no clue (only had it for a month ran) but will do one soon oil,plugs,filters,wires.. what else??

P.S. exhaust fell strong before the car stopped working you think it'll still could be the cat??

Check fuel pressure first and always post the engine size for proper responses.

Ok so it turns out to be one of the injectors number 3 to be exact i disconnected it and the car stayed on so the next plan is to replace it hopefully this is the only thing wrong

My bad didn't see the 3300 in the op, yes a bad injector can affect the others as well.
