how do we replace a thromostate and where is it in the 2001 4.3 liter engine do you got pics of where it is that would be a great help thanks

Not quite sure what that picture is for, but it's definitely NOT a 4.3L.
Drain the coolant using the valve in the lower passenger corner of the radiator. Follow the upper radiator hose to where it connects to the engine, (ahead of, and to the driver side of the throttle body). Two 10mm bolts hold the coolant outlet to the intake manifold. Remove the bolts and the outlet housing. The thermostat is under the housing, don't forget to replace the O ring, it usually comes with a new thermostat.
