how to do avatars

How can you make custom avatars, and put them by your name????

What do you mean by custom.Just find a picture you like and make it smaller.

GAH I didnt know I needed that many posts.. omg.. I need 72 more.. can i post whore or is that considered bad? I mean this IS off topic right ;)

Does he know something the rest of us don't cause I don't see a number for posts before you can get an avatar. :confused:

First click on Profile in the upper Right Hand corner of your screen

Then click on Edit Options

Then click on Change Avatar. It will ask you where the avatar file is.
Download it to your C Drive and Upload it to AF.

Upload your avatar at www.automotiveforums.com/upload

Make sure it is 100 X 100 pixels or less.

There is no longer a requirement to make 100 posts before you can have an avatar. THERE'S A FAQ LINK in the header,please use it!:D

lol :D I remember having to whore up 100 posts and didn't even make an avatar until about 200 posts later- then I needed to ask help on how to put it in my profile :D:D
