Welcome to AF,
Using forum search '' P0171'' , and Simular Threads at the bottom of your thread is helpful during searching.

Is this car still under insurance or warranty?
It sounds like unmetered air is leaking into your Intake!

1)Do a visual inspection from the air filter box, and air duct work to your throttle body.
Make sure your air filter is in tight, and no leaks from PCV system going to your air duct work.

2) Call around for a local garage, that can do a smoke test for unmetered air leaks.
