There has probably been many comparisons like this before, but I don't visit this forum too much, so here we go:
Best of the supercars: looks, performance, anything and everything.
Here are the options...

Porsche Carrera GT
EB V16 Veyron

I know people will be saying, 'what about the...' but I did this quick and I just thought of my favorite 9 supercars off the top of my head. This includes and later versions of the model (i.e. Diablo 6.0, Zonda C12 S). You don't have to back up your choice but I would like to hear why you picked what you picked. Sorry for the long poll, it may be annoying. And I apoligize ahead of time to those who may think this is stupid and whatever. I just want to get your oppinion on which one of these cars is best.

You forgot the Esprit V8, the EB110 and the F50, not to mention the orginal Contach.




Im a big fan of the Lotus V8, or any model Esprit.

I knew this was going to happen. I was going to put the Lotus Elise in, not the Esprit, but decided against it... I think if I could I would change the Koenigsegg CC to the Saleen S7. I will admit that this thread was based on oppinion also. But I didn't want to make a 15-car poll, and I just thought of these off the top of my head. So if we can please just vote on the cars I included and set aside what you think should've been there. I guess I will start since you didn't want to...
I pick the Lamborghini Murcielago. Of course it can be out-performed by a few of these other cars, but I am biased to the Murci. When I first saw it, it struck me as the nicest car I have ever seen. Like I said, it can be out-performed by some of these cars, but it definitely does not lack in performance. 580 BHP at 7500 rpm, 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. But the looks alone put this car ahead of the rest. So smooth, so sporty. How can't you love the looks of it? Well, I don't feel like typing anymore... I would get more specific if I wasn't so tired.

Other, I'll take a Mosler MT900, sub 2200 lb CF chassis, MR drivetrain, performs with most of the above supercars with just a stock Corvette LS6 engine, imagine what it could do with a C5-R's motor and shorter gears.

i choose the enzo since ferrari spent a fortune designing that car to beat the mclaren. even though the mclaren is much faster but the enzo is a downforce monster, and as close to an f1 car as possible. now if it comes to looks, it would have to be the zonda C12 S

i would not say that the mclaren is much faster. yeah it might have a bit more top speed but i bet the enzo would take it on a track. And yeah i love how the enzo looks like a F1 with a body kit.

I can barelly wait to se a showdown between the enzo and the F1:flash:

oh yeah and lets not forget the tommy kaira ZZII. think about it a mid engined (boared and stroked skyline gt-r motor the RB28DETT making 550hp) with the skyline all wheel drive (atessa ets pro) and weight only 2200lbs. that is what every skyline should be. plus its got the looks and speed. so i change my vote from the enzo to the ZZII

I didn't want to vote.. Too hard with so many great cars! But the top three are Murcielago, F1 and the Enzo.. The Murcielago is the "prettiest" one.. F1 seems the coolest to drive with the high speed and all, especieally since u sit in the middle of the car.. Enzo a little odd, but its really great the more you look at it, really grows on you!

I had to go with the Enzo, just too good to not vote for.

About the Enzo vs. McLaren, the tests show a very close comparison. I have to find the actual numbers, but I am positive that the McLaren barely outperforms the Enzo. Of course, no one will know for sure untill they actually go head to head...
Deakins, it's funny you should mention the Edonis, it barely missed the list. It was between that and the Koenigsegg, and I chose the CC.

ehm . . . i dont think the 427 cobra is in the same ballpark, nice car tho

We need more votes! Someone at least has to break the tie between the Enzo and the McLaren... And I am the only one who voted for the Murcielago...
