I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant with about 120k miles and the ABS and TCL lights are on. I know it has something to do with the braking system but could someone tell me what? I checked and the pads are pretty worn and the rotors need turned or replaced. I can do that no problem but am wondering is that the issue causing the lights or do I need to go deeper.
One other thing, anyone ever took the driver door apart to work on a window? Something popped and the window won't roll up or down although it will fall down on its own.
Thanks everybody.

ABS/TRAC lights are for antilock system nothing to do with brake linings
you need to have codes read w/abs compatable scanner auto zone may help w/reading codes
the pop noise sounds like window regulator has come off track
need to pull door panel to inspect
