2005 Yukon: Somehow Mrs. Cusser got the fiberboard sunroof slider caught (or it just got caught) in the sunroof mechanism when she opened the electric sunroof. The fiberboard panel was COMPLETELy inside the roof "pocket". Then nothing would work with the sunroof. I made two wire loops and was able (with force) to pull the fiberboard panel forward, then disconnected the battery momentarily, and held the button in 20 seconds like the owners manual said, and the motor started working again. The problem is, to get the electric sunroof completey closed, the electric window pulls that fiberboard forward and there's about a 1.5 inch gap in the fiberboard now when the glass sunroof is fully closed, and the fiberboard won't budge then. I can "monkey" with it and get it usable, but still end up with a 1.5 inch fiberboard gap when sunroof is fully closed. Any ideas? I bet all this would be dealer-only to fix, and expensive as well. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
