98 Regal plug wires

Hello all. Want to replace the wires (3.8L) and they go through some kind of plastic holder. How does that holder come apart without breaking it? Is it reuseable? (The holders on the valve cover) :smile:

Not sure of the year of your car, but my older GM cars have reusable plastic looms. You can see that one end has a little snap-closed clip. You can pop open the little tab (that holds it closed ) with a tiny screwdriver.

Its a 98. Its not that style that I can see.

I know exactly which ones you're talking about. I've had good luck in the past with just prying them open on the locking side with a wide flatblade screwdriver. It must be done with some care though because they become more brittle with age.
