That is the MR30 or something 30 Skyline. They were used back in the late 80's or early 90's.

Yeah, that's what it's called. I couldn't remember that name for the life of me.

Hiya,
that is an old E-DR30 type skyline 2000 turbo RS-X, it looks like a 1983 model. These came out with an FJ 20 ET type water cooled serial 4 cylinder DOHC 4 valve engine. This is the pre-runner to the RB series engines and was one of the first turbo charged Skyline engines to be released.
Eventually Nissan relased the R31 GTS-R which featured the RB20DET-R in very limited release. They are collectors items these days. This saw the birth of the RB26DETT, and the continuation of the RB20DET's for the last of the R31's, and all turbo charged R32's excluding GTR's.

For more information about the Tomica E-DR30 series as pictured above visit http://plaza7.mbn.or.jp/%7Efree/rs-turbo.htm

A friend of mine visited the Prince Skyline Museum in Japan last year, I have posted some of his pictures up on my website at http://www.skylinesdownunder.com/history/skylinemuseum.html

the GTS-R didnt come out with a twin turbo RB20!!!! - the GTS-R came out with a single turbo RB20DET-R it had a T04 ? and produced 215ps
- there was however 5 GTR-S models made which had the RB20DETT - if i remember correctly there two in england - two in america and one in japan

Actually that car was a terror on the tarmac in Japan. When it campained it dominated in the mid 80's. While it looks wierd it is still a thing of beauty and I wish I had one parked in the garage next to my R.
