Hi, and thanx for the link. I can't stop thinking that it's not enough retro at the front. I think they should've gone all the way and make it like the Camaro or Mustang did. It looks like the mighty Sport Audi Quattro (S1) on the side and the back, I just don't like how the fascia looks. Ok, maybe nowadays when You have to be green, it's been sculpted in the name of low drag, but then again those nostagia hungry Audi buyers might look elsewhere. The specs look superb though, and I really liked the GPS that tells You what gear to use on the curve ahead, NICE! Vorsprung technick!

I'd agree that it is not retro all the way like the Mustang, Camaro or Challenger. It is more inspired by the past.
This way I guess, they can still have a car that appeals to younger people for who the old Quattro means nothing, as well as appeal on people looking for the true heir of the old Quattro. Trying to kill 2 birds at the same time ;-)

A Camaro passed me the other day and it seriously took me a minute to realize what year it was. They definately commited and went with a no holds bar remake. I think that with the direction that Audi is heading, having a simple likeness of the original is all that can be expected. Audi seems to be trying to head the revolution for that luxury / technology demographic. I have to say that if they did make a more boxy looking one like the original, it would be awesome.
