2001 dakota mpg?

What kind of mpg can i expect from a 01 dakota with the 4banger and stick shift? KBB shows 15 highway leaving me wondering what takes up that much power.

That's the formula i come up with for a Ram but the Dakota appears like a light truck to me

What cab do you have? I know the QC weighs close to 5000lbs.

my 2001 dakota quad with v6 4x4 gets about 10mpg city and 15mpg highway and has been that way since i bought it i have tried doing fuel system cleaner and tuneup and it didnt change. kbb told me i would get 15mpg city and 18mpg highway and i dont get anywhere near that
