Hi, i'm really looking for this kit, but i can't find anything on the internet!

It's the 1972 VW Beetle 1302 (called SuperBeetle); it was a different model, with a new body shape and new front suspensions. It seems nobody produces or sells a kit of this particular model (there are lots of type1 kits though). Do you know where i can find it??

well, this is not exactly the same... this is the 1303S model (1973) and it has a different windscreen (was flat in 1972, and oval in 1973) and a different dashboard

thanks anyway for the help this is the most similar model to the 1302

any other suggestion?

thanks deedlit, your blog is really full of resources!

unfortunately i saw many Super Beetle kits (many of them of never-heard brands ^^), but all of them were of the 1303S model :( :(

i am really thinking nobody ever produced the 1302 version :8

nope :(

The first one is the Type 1 Beetle, so it's the standard one (before 1972)
The second one is the 1303s model (year 1973, with oval windscreen)
The third one is some kind of racing version, so it's something I don't need
The fourth one is again the standard beetle type 1 (1966)

appreciate the effort ;)

Barnello,

I wish I had so many choices in kits for the cars I'm interested in building! You are simply awash in great Beetle kits. Choose the one that is closest to the version you'd like to build and modify it. If your skills aren't ready yet consider it a long-term goal with some intermediate projects in between to strengthen them.
