oil sensor

I have a 2004 Sentra 1.8S. the problem I'm having is that the oil can on the dasboard is blinking which is a sign of engine oil problem sometimes when I come to a stop it blinks, when I first start the car the light stays on and then it starts to blink while driving and then it goes off for a while and then starts to blink again any idea on what the prblem might be or it could be be just the engine oil temp sensor going bad. I did the oil change and the light still comes on any idea

Could be your oil pressure sensor (sometimes called oil sending unit). But check the oil level to see you've got the right amount of oil in there.
