Servicing the CVT on 2010 versa

have the SL with CVT. i inquired at dealer and got the bad news about the black gold they sell for the trans. fluid ($22 per quart--that's $88 for a refill when servicing). dealer cost for auto trans service is $360! has anyone done this? parts guy said there is no filter--just a screen that gets cleaned.

do i just drop the pan, clean the screen, and refill? or is it hard to get at? i usually do my own mechanical work so i have all the tools.

any help or advice would be appreciated.
