having problems

Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me out? I am having a headache of problems with my car. I have a '98 civic EX and I swapped a B16A2 into it and now I am having problems with it...my vtec is not working and it is pissing me off. I took it to the shop and they said that it is because some of the vtec sensors are not hooked up, but my vtec was working like 3 months ago, but now it is not. No speedo...no cruise control.....no odometer. I have a 97 GSR ecu in it and a 98 ex wiring harness....what did the guy do wrong and what do I need to do to solve this problem so I can have my sleeper back! Help please!!!!!! :confused:

most vtec related problems are due to a lack of oil, id check your level first.
