wanting 13 sec et times

i have a 95 gsr integra i have a dc 4-2-1 header and aem intake and revolution muffler. i was wondering if i put msd ignition cam gears and aem pulleys with port and polish 3 angle valve job with either zex or skunk 2 cams to the motor and also putting a stage 3 clutch and alum. fly wheel with the phantom lsd convertion with 15 inch wheels all the way around on some strictly drag slicks if that would put me into the 13s or even better??? after that is done i want to put some zex nitrous with a 50 shot behind it and hope to hit 12's does doing all that sound correct and i will hit where i want to in the 1320 if and help thanks

upgrade feul pump/injectors to be safe and slap a 75 shot on there with some good DR's or slicks might see 12's?

if u only add a 50 shot an some drag slicks to ur set-up now, u can run 13's. jus like h/b said, upgrade ur fuel system a bit, an u can run the 75 shot an u'll be 13's NO PROBLEM (on slicks that is)

wait wait wait....how much does your car weigh? your going to have to be pushing at around 260 horses to hit 12's. personally i wouldnt do it that way but its your car.

and civichb's right you need FUEL

put that set up in a lighter car might see 12's(depending on how you drive) and you wont need any boost! All motor is the way to go!!!

i didnt explain why phantom grips or msd sucks either but here ya go.....
as far as imports go, nitrous is just the cheap mans turbo. it kills motors and i would never run it on any of my motors. theres my explaination assclown. lets hear why you obviously like it.

Only if you're a fool. Member whtteg runs nitrous in his car a after 130k miles on the OD his compression numbers are near perfect. Nitrous doesn't kill motors any more than guns kill people. IDIOTS kill motors, the same idiots who kill people. Nitrous is hardly a cheap man's turbo, just another option if you don't want to go the turbo route. If you choose to go all-motor, are cams then the cheap man's turbo? So what you're saying is that anyone who has an import and doesn't go turbo is an "assclown", and is just being cheap? I can understand you not wanting to run it in any of you motors, no biggy, that's your opinion. But to tell someone who comes here looking for help and suggestions that something they're interested in absolutely sucks isn't always the best way to go about things. Especially not when it's something as proven, tried and true as a nitrous setup. If someone came on here asking for into about a turbo, and I was to post "greddy sux, turbo sux", I gaurantee you I would have 500 people arguing with me. I don't turbo my motors, no, but I'm also knowledgeable enough to recognize that turbo's, like superchargers, like nitrous, like cams, like gears, like every perfomance part out there, have their useful applications.

yeh tried and proven on tons of cars....but for the MOST part, nitrous is just ass on a honda. show me a honda drag car that is competing this season on nitrous....not turbo/nitrous that is doing well and that'll provide me with some evidence.

EXACTLY. imo nitrous's useful applications are the motors like the ls1 and the other big boys. not some little ass 4 cylinder struggling to make 150 lb/ft of torque
same thing with superchargers. i will say and continue to say that a supercharger on a honda is a complete waste. on different motors however...superchargers are the best.
hell i even say that turbo blows on honda motors 7 times out of 10 because people turbo their hondas with little kits and dont know what their doing and they blow motors. honda motors arent designed for forced induction so i personally believe that the most USEFUL application for honda motors are all motor circuit race cars.

checkout the zex shop car when it had the z6 in it, it ran mid 13's with intake/header and nitrous and slicks try running 13's with that same motor but spending the same amount, its not gonna happen, im not a very wealthy guy, so i try and resort to cheaper but effective ways to be faster, if you have money then go all motor, but since i dont i will rely on nitrous and a turbo down the line

and half the people i know with nitrous are dumbasses comin up to me like "i got nos yo" but people who actually know what nitrous is really about and can actually tune, their cars are fast with minimal mods

thats true and it agrees with what i said up there ^

but.....i really beleive that if you tallied up the cost of that motor in that car, i almost bet that i could come close if not hit those times with either a n/a or turbo z6.but thats just because i can almost all of the work myself. i can do turbo manifolds and piping myself so that cuts tons of cost.
