Currently own 2009 Honda Civic 4DR sedan. Purchased brand new with 100k mile warranty. The day I pulled this car off the lot, I heard an annoying squeaking. I called the dealership and they had me bring it in. Turns out that one of the large springs, underneath near the back passenger tire was recoiled and was pushed against a metal piece of the car and they put the car on the lift and “popped the spring lose”. The dealer asked me if I jacked this over some railroad tracks(Really!!). The car had 6 miles on it. So I took the car home and after 25k miles, the rear tires were completely bald. Not only bald, the tires had flat spots. Front tires were fine. The dealer asked me if I drove this car with the emerengcy brake on(Really!!). then he informed me that this was my fault as I did not rotate the tires(Really!!). So they put the front tires on the rear and new tires on front. Here we are 8k miles later and reart tires bald again. I can not even drive this car in the rain as I am all over the road. I now have 33k miles on the car and the dealership tells me there is nothing wrong with the car. Can someone give me any advise here. How should I handle this with the dealership? Or go to Honda corporate.

Call Honda, sound like your dealer sucks. Did they ever align it? If there is a problem that should be taken care of under 3yr/36k warranty. Hopefully you have all the paper work starting with the first instance and they will do something for you. Tires are not normally covered under warranty unless they are defective. Maybe you will get Honda to do a goodwill and maybe split it 50/50. I know they are trying to get away from goodwill stuff. Don't be a jerk to them and hopefully you have good luck. I'm sure they will ask for tire rotation proof unless done at the dealer. If you didn't do you are SOL! Maintenance is key!
