Python fans

Any Monty Python fans out there? I imagine theres a few of us. Watched the Holy Grail for about the billionth time this weekend and I still laugh my ass off. I think its as much a cult film as The Rocky Horror Picture Show ever was without all the silly dressing up. NI

Wasn't there suppose to be a sequel to that! I'm still waitning on it to come out!

I think it might of been History of the world part 1 there was suppose to be a #2.:D

Spanish inquisition was funny & gotta love that big giant fatty that they blaze up to get the roman army high!

Different crew - Mel Brooks writes some funny shit, but Python is in a class by themselves.

Ah yes, I have that on DVD. Altough my frineds do thoroughly enjoy it, I also laugh my ass off everytime.

My favourite scene is with the Grily Prince and His dad talking about his four sunken castles.

That is one of the best. It burned, fell down and then sank into the swamp but the fourth one stayed up! Its a lesson for life on perserverance :D

Our favorite line while in college was "Run away!!!" The guys used that alot on the ice rink.

ah yes. The movies are great but the sketches.... those're where monty python truly shines. Anyone seen the twit olympics sketch or the spam sketch. Check them out, they're hilarious.

I've been a big fan of the Flying Circus. Its hard to find but worth the effort.

I see the videos to that all the time at my local video store, they are in sets of 3 or 4 and have like 4 or 5 different sets.

They've been showing all the Flying circus episodes here, even the german ones, but at odd hours, like 1am in the middle of the week.
I love them, the jokes are all 30yrs old but still damn funny

I love Monty Python. I have one of their CD's and I also have the Holy Grrrail on DVD. I love Tim and the Holy hand grenade. Watching it with subtitles makes it soooo much more enjoyable! My favorite part is the peasant and Arthur arguing. I also have the books that have all their scripts. They released a new edition of the Holy Grail recently with lots of extra.
