IS300 - Replacing rear side marker light bulb

The drivers side rear side marker light burned out on my 2001 Lexus IS300. I tried to access the bulb assembly from within the trunk, but couldn't find a way. How do you get to the bulb to replace it? (I read somewhere about pulling the "bumper cover" off????? How do you do that, if it is necessary?) Thanks for any help.

I had my wife do it. You have to have small hands and arms. I greased her arm with vaseline and go up behind the rear bumper. It's a bitch to do but if you get someone with small hands they can excess it......
