I don't study too much on Pontiacs, but are there any Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix with stick shift or are they all automatic?

Only the base trim levels (SE) of the Grand Am sedan have manual transmissions. All other other Grand Am models are autos.
All Grand Prixs are automatic, though the 2004 does offer some driver control with tap-shifting.

But is there a kit that you can buy that can change the auto to stick?

Good luck find trannies for the GP that'll be able to hold the power. That's the main reason all GP's/Regal's/Impala's/Monte's are autos. GM doesn't make a tranny that can continually hold the power. Some guys have tried sticking manuals on their GTPs from Sunfires and such, but blew the tranny within a month from all the power...

You could use a gertrag 5 speed from a fiero. It take some work a money for custom half shafts, but they live behind (beside) SBCs and 3800 quite often.

I disagree with that thought, there is no way i would want to mess up a nice grand prix for that.

Try a supercharged 3.8 V6 for the GTP
Naturally asperated 3.8 V6 for the GT
Naturally asperated 3.1 V6 for the SE
To my knowledge, the GP never had a 3.4L V6

Actually, the early model GTPs (before '97) were N/A DOHC 3.4L engines. Had a very nice top end and a lot of people say they were somewhat underrated...

I just saw a 94 GT for sale with the 3.4 DOHC in it. Like the Lumina Z-34 I'm not so sure about the STe model, 3.1 I think. . Look for the louvers on either side of the hood by the top of the fenders. That is pretty much the tell tale sign of the 3.4 DOHC.
